What Stupidity Brings with it.

I just returned home to Israel after spending two weeks in Austria.

My first stop after landing in Vienna (Wien), named after the river that flows through the city, we headed to the beautiful mountains. The word Austria derives from "East," when the Bamberg Family was set east from today's Germany to settle.

The Babenberg Family was succeeded by the Habsburg dynasty, which ruled for centuries.

Most of Europe has always been agricultural and rural, but the industrial revolution forever altered the social fabric and construct of the continent, creating major cities and weakening the control that Church held over society.

The people united around the state, as their new "religion" and Germany's Nazi Party took that "religion" to the max. Europe never replaced that with anything constructive and what arose in the vacuum is post-modernism and now progressive ideologies, which are extreme forms of secularism and chaos mentality, decadence and lack of discipline.

Europe has gone astray, but the rise of similar delusional fantasies in Washington shielded Brussels, London, Paris and Berlin from the consequences of their insanity and weakness.

They hate Trump, because he is an adult. They despise him, because he represents discipline, hard work and belief in order.

The Russia-Ukraine conflict, now in its fourth year, showcases President Donald Trump's diplomatic genius through breakthrough talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, potentially forging a historic resolution. The problem is that President Putin knows these pathetic European leaders are snowflakes and he isn't deterred at all. As Trump says, with Bush, Putin went after Georgia, with Obama, he took Crimea and Biden, he wanted the whole thing.

So, what now? Putin can now see that there's a creative path that works for everyone, because Trump is a maverick of deals, but he can't let go of the never-ending doubts he is obsessive over that the west will screw him over at some point. After all, that's been his experience throughout his life.

Trump's "America First" strategy balances deterrence with restraint - this is what Benjamin Netanyahu calls Peace Through Strength: first comes strength, then comes peace.

Trump's masterstroke lies in four debated guarantees for Ukraine post-ceasefire: First, "boots on the ground": France, the UK, and Germany may deploy troops to borders if Russia retains territories (this shows Putin that there is cost to imperial advancements), but Trump excludes American forces, preventing overcommitment (American troops are not for sale!). Second, air support: Leveraging U.S. technological superiority! Trump wants to show China what the defense industry is producing: options include advanced systems, jets in Poland or Romania, or a no-fly zone, providing robust defense without ground risks. Third, NATO membership is off the table, as Trump identifies alliance expansion as a war catalyst, avoiding escalation (This is the Obama-Biden disease thinking). Fourth, "Article 5-like" pacts offer NATO-style mutual defense without full membership, with Putin showing openness in a Finlandization model—Ukraine neutral, sovereign, but non-NATO, with Western guarantees without permanent bases.

This framework highlights Trump's brilliance: Unlike Biden's four-year refusal to engage Putin, Trump's direct summits—in Alaska and via envoys—shift from stalemate to details, pressuring via sanctions threats if needed.

His pivot to peace treaty over immediate ceasefire pragmatically accepts realities: Like he says, you can't turn back the clock, with Russia already in control of 20% of Ukraine and both of these nations suffering demographic collapse of working-age men.

Putin is looking for a real solution to his country's needs and with Bush, Obama and Biden, he saw no path.

Now, he does, but he plays hardball. He'll regret that. Trump is his best shot of not falling into the CCP's trap.
